Our Story

I didn't set out to start a company. I set out to find a solution for my son that met my standards.

During my pregnancy with my son Jack, I developed a severe ear infection that caused my eardrum to rupture, so I had to take antibiotics. When he was born, his skin was dry, irritated, and so sensitive that lotion time was something we both dreaded. He would cry out in pain because the lotion hurt.

I'm an organic-loving, crunchy mom who looks into ingredients, and what I found shocked me. Many of the most commonly recommended baby lotions contained chemicals that are banned in the EU. I wanted so much better for my children.

So I did what nurses do and researched until I had an answer. I learned everything I could about oils, the skin microbiome, and the role beneficial bacteria play in early life. I partnered with a PhD friend, we developed a formula, and we tested it together.

The first batch I made was for Jack. It completely changed lotion time. No more tears.

We had to share it with the world.

Is it safe for newborns?

Every ingredient is non-toxic, dermatologist tested, clinically shown to be non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Our formula contains no preservatives, synthetic fragrances, dyes, petroleum derivatives, phthalates, or other harmful additives. Please consult your doctor prior to introducing any product.

Why the probiotics?

When a baby is born, their skin is first introduced to beneficial bacteria during passage through the birth canal. These early microbial exposures help support healthy skin development and immune balance. This is one reason many providers recommend waiting at least 24 hours before bathing a newborn.

Breast milk is another rich source of beneficial microbes and bioactive compounds. Many parents report that breast milk baths can work miracles on delicate baby skin.
